Happy Birthday to my Father

I'll be honest, the last 3 years have not been well for me. I starred in a play, graduated high school, and finished off my first semester of college. Those sound like some pretty big accomplishments, but when you realize what I've been going through you understand that why they weren't easy to do. The old Star Wars meme "May the 4th be with you" has never hit me as hard as I would have expected it to. On May 4th, 2013 my father passed away and at that moment I saw all the accomplishments in my life change tremendously. It has not been easy completing some of these goals and advancing towards your career when the main person who has put you on the right path isn't there to see you walk. But even when he's not here, my Father, Paul Moore Sr. has still managed to help me through every obstacle. My biggest fear in college was not being able to adapt to my new situation, and even though I didn't have my mom or sister nearby to talk to, I knew that there was always someone watching over me, listening to what I had to say, and he would still help guide me down the right path. So all I want to say today is Happy Birthday to my dad, even though you're not physically here you've truly helped me progress not only as a better writer, or a better artist, but as a better son. And to that I say, Thank You.
